We’re committed to reducing food waste and supporting local communities. That’s why we partner with Canadian organizations year-round to fight food insecurity and keep edible food out of landfills.
Stepping up for Earth Month
In April, we’re increasing our support with $15K in donations* to our food rescue partners.
How You Can Help:
✅ Order select Zero Waste Kit meals, mini spatulas, or reusable totes — we’ll donate $1 per item*. Look for the badge on the menu.
✅ Refer a friend — we’ll add $5 to our donation* and you’ll get a $45 credit as a thank you. Your friend gets $45 off their first order.

Meet our food rescue partners
With the help of volunteer drivers, VFR redirects surplus food from businesses to support nonprofits running essential food programming in Metro Vancouver.
In 2024, they have delivered the equivalent of 1.3 million meals.
Leftovers Foundation
They aim to reduce food waste and prevent the greenhouse gas emissions caused when good food is left to rot.
In 2024, they redirected over 1.1 million pounds of food in Alberta and Manitoba.
They gather food donations and basic products, and distribute them free of charge to nearly 300 community organizations in Montreal. In 2023-24 they distributed $148M worth of food, fulfilling nearly 1M food requests per month.

In 2024 alone, Fresh Prep:

*Fresh Prep will donate $5 for every successful referral that signs up and is billed for their first order during April, 2025. We’ll also donate $1 from the sale of select meals throughout the month. In total, Fresh Prep Foods Inc. will donate a maximum of $15,000 this April — split equally between Vancouver Food Runners, Leftovers Foundation, and Moisson MontrĂ©al. Donations will be made by Fresh Prep Foods Inc. and customers will not receive a tax receipt.
