About Fresh Prep
Since 2015, Fresh Prep’s mission has been to make mealtime easier, tastier, and more sustainable. We deliver fresh, flavourful meals to your door every week — including ready-to-cook recipes, ready-to-eat meals, and Market staples. With reusable packaging, flexible plans, and direct delivery, we’re here to help you eat well, without the waste.
How it works

Choose what you want by Wednesday at 11:59 p.m. — or let our chefs surprise you. Pick my next meals
✔ Full flexibility
Choose from ready-to-eat meals, ready-to-cook meals, and Market items every week. Just meet the $60 minimum spend for delivery, and you’re good to go.
✔ Skip or pause anytime
Need a break? It’s easy with just a few clicks. Want to change your delivery day? You can easily do that in your account.
What’s in your Fresh Prep bag?
Your reusable cooler bag is filled with:
- The meals or items you selected
- Ice packs to keep it all cool
- Recipe cards (if you ordered recipes)
- Zero Waste Kits (for select recipes)
Note: Protein items may be packed in a thermal pouch, depending on the season and region
Storing Your Food
- Cooler bag: Keeps food cold for up to 4 hours post-delivery
- Meal kits: Best used within 4 days
- Ready-to-eat meals: Check the best-before date (minimum 4 days from delivery)

Cooking & clean up
What you’ll need:
- Pots, pans, a baking sheet, mixing bowls, and a spatula / spoons
- Salt, pepper, and a high-heat cooking oil (like grapeseed). Some meals may require milk or butter.
- Optional, but helpful: A wire mesh strainer (for rinsing rice, beans, and vegetables), and a zester/grater or microplane (for citrus).
Cleaning up:
- Rinse soft plastics or containers and put them back in your cooler bag—we’ll make sure they’re recycled.
For Zero Waste Kits:
- Rinse with cold water for 20–30 seconds to remove all food residue.
- Dry completely.
- Place the cups inside the kit, then put the kit in your cooler bag with the lid unsealed.
Returning reusable items
We reuse everything we can — and we make returns easy.
Just zip up your bag with any reusable containers, kits, and ice packs inside and leave it out on your next delivery day.

Apartment tip: Leave return items in the lobby for easier access.
Note: We cannot accept plastic pouches that contained meat or seafood or any recyclables that weren’t originally sent in your delivery.
Smooth deliveries
We work hard to make sure your meals arrive safe and sound. On delivery day, you’ll get a text with your delivery window. Want to make sure we drop your bag exactly where you want it? Just update your delivery instructions in your account settings.
Helpful examples you can add:

✨ Pro Tip:
If your neighborhood is tricky or your address can be confusing, send us a location pin! Our delivery team will make sure your driver knows exactly where to go next time.

- Order cut-off: Wednesdays at 11:59 p.m.
